HOLY TRINITY CHURCH CHOIR

The choir is a well-established and integral part of music at Holy Trinity Church, leading most of the main services Sunday by Sunday and at other major festivals. It has sung around the UK at major churches and cathedrals and toured to Italy, the Netherlands, Canada and the US.

It has broadcast on BBC 1 and ITV, on BBC Radios 2 and 4, as well as the World Service. Two CDs were recorded in 2015 and 2018 - see separate page. In 2016 the choir sang for HRH Prince Charles (now HM the King) on his visit to the church.

The choir comprises boys and girls who enter from the age of 8, together with a few older sopranos, together with the other adult altos, tenors and basses. Admission is by audition. Choral and organ scholarships are available for talented teenagers.

In 2023 a new association for current and past choristers is being set up. Holy Trinity is very grateful to all past and current choir members for the tremendous amount of commitment and skill they have offered to the church. We thought it would be fun to create a choir association so that past members can be updated with news. We also would like to have a reunion in celebration of 40 years of the Friends of the Music. It would be a chance to meet up again, and if you wish, to sing! Please click on this link if you would like to join the choir association. It is totally free!
